About us
Meet Charles and Catherine
AG Construction is a family owned business led by Charles and Catherine Gatlin, combining hands-on construction experience with a personal approach to every project.
A native of Old Metairie, Charles founded AG Construction in 2020, bringing more than a decade of experience in residential and commercial construction. As a Residential General Contractor in Louisiana and Mississippi, he personally oversees each project from start to finish, working through challenges as they arise and making sure every detail is handled along the way.
Catherine, an LSU alumna, joined AG Construction following Hurricane Ida, bringing a background in disaster recovery, insurance, and government recovery funding. She manages the paperwork and project coordination that keep everything organized, helping clients understand where things stand every step of the way. If you need guidance navigating an insurance claim or exploring additional funding options, Catherine is happy to help.
Together, Charles and Catherine bring their experience and teamwork to every project, making the construction and renovation process as smooth and stress-free as possible. When they’re not working, you’ll find them around New Orleans with their three dogs, affectionately known as “the girls”. They love spending time with family and friends, cooking, and heading out to whichever festival is happening that weekend.

How we give back
At AG Construction, we believe that to take care of our home, we have to take care of our community.
We love finding ways to support our neighbors and make a positive impact throughout our community. Most recently, we donated $1,300 worth of food to Deacon Ed’s Food Bank, and we’re grateful to support an organization that helps local families in need. Giving back is just one of the ways we’re proud to be part of the communities we serve!
